Aztec Schools: Good morning, Tiger Community,
Conditions throughout the district vary this morning; however, conditions exist that make travel unsafe for students and adults alike as temperatures dip. As a result, we will be conducting a virtual/remote learning day today. We will continue to monitor the weather throughout the day and overnight.

Our crews have successfully repaired the water main at Lydia Rippey Elementary. As a result, classes will resume in person, tomorrow, Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Thank you again for you patience and understanding.

As a result, Lydia Rippey Elementary school will have virtual/remote instruction day tomorrow, January 31, 2023. All other AMSD sites will be operating as normal. Parents & Guardians, there is a significant water main leak affecting Lydia Rippey Elementary. While crews are working to repair this issue, the water has been shut off in the building. We are taking steps to ensure students have access to drinking water and restroom facilities. We may have to shift Lydia Rippey Elementary to virtual learning in the future. Another announcement will be made this evening regarding the status of the school for tomorrow. Should you wish to pick up your child from Lydia Rippey early today, you may do so.
Due to weather conditions school is canceled for January 3rd. Have a wonderful snow day!!!
