Exciting enhancements are coming to Lillywhite Gym at Aztec High School! The district has announced plans to install a state-of-the-art sound system and digital scoreboard, designed to elevate the game-day atmosphere for athletes, students, and fans alike.
The new scoreboard will feature a full video display, allowing for live footage, replays, and custom media presentations. Even more exciting is the collaboration with Aztec High School’s Media Classes, which will have the opportunity to produce and broadcast student-created hype videos and other digital content directly on the big screen.
“This upgrade is about more than technology — it’s about giving our students real-world experience,” said Lauren Laws, Superintendent. “We’re connecting our academic programs to school spirit in a creative, interactive way.”
The installation is expected to be completed this spring, marking another step forward in the district’s commitment to innovation and student-centered learning.
